Porn Lovers Masturbated to These Video Game and Comic Book Characters the Most in 2017

Last year, the porn tube site Pornhub had 28.5 billion worldwide visitors (more than 20 times the population of China, the world’s most populous country). And, considering the worldwide popularity of video games and comic books, Pornhub researched which characters people wanted to masturbate to most. Now we know that one of the video game porn searches was for a furry yellow monster named Pikachu — perhaps you’ve heard of him?

 

The top comic book and video game porn searches

While most of the top comic book and video game porn searches were for female characters, Batman topped the list of most desired male comic book characters (possibly because he’s a butch daddy in head-to-toe kink gear). The next most popular heroes were Spiderman, Captain America, Superman, Deadpool (who is pansexual, by the way), the Joker (clown sex, nice) and Thor.

In terms of video game characters, the only male who made the list was Ash, the boyish trainer from the Pokémon games and cartoon. He came in 10th in a list of 16 most popular video game porn searches.

At the bottom of the list was Ash’s electric pocket monster pal Pikachu. Even though Pikachu is male, he’s also an animal which makes any porn with him bestiality, which isn’t our bag personally, but we’d rather you fantasize about sex with fictional animals rather than have sex with actual real ones, so … whatever rocks your joystick, yo.

Interestingly, people also sought out porn of the sci-fi cartoon series Rick and Morty, a series with a older pansexual nihilist as the lead and a teenage boy as his sidekick (though in the show, both seem mostly if not entirely interested in women).

When it came to male celebrities, 1.8 million searches sought out porn of Justin Bieber while 700,000 sought out porn of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. The next most popular male celebs were Donald Trump, gaming YouTuber Pewdiepie, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo and singers Harry Styles and Shawn Mendez. Naturally, it disappoints us that no black or Asian celebs made the list — diversify your desire, internet!

Actually, in terms of gay searches, Japanese and Korean topped the list of all gay searches followed by “straight first time,” “straight friend” and black, so maybe gay men are seeking out racially diverse porn, at least more than straight viewers.
